Something that I have always loved about photography is that we have the ability to turn anything into something beautiful. This specific session with Traci and Vince is absolute proof that you can turn every kind of landscape into a beautiful one as long as you're telling a story within each image.

Traci and Vince were such an easy couple to work with. I had met them through a wedding company (Joy Photo & Video) that I partner with in the Northern California region. The three of us instantly clicked and made so much magic happen within the hour we had for our engagement session. Safe to say, I am so excited to capture their upcoming wedding day!

Wow! Can you believe it's not even officially spring, yet the weather is as hot as it would be in April? I know we need the rain, but dang this weather is very appealing for all my upcoming portrait sessions.

Just like my more recent extended family session with my friend Kyle and his family. I was honestly under the impression that there would be an overcast, so I had planned to do this session earlier on in the day, but to my surprise, it was bright and sunny so we had to chase around for some shaded areas. Luckily William Land Park in Sacramento, CA has so much to offer as far as scenery goes.

I'm very excited to explore more and utilize more local parks and other nature-esque areas this season.
